About Us

We are Chris and Stella, welcome to our world!! We are a husband and wife team of photographers based in South Surrey, servicing the Greater Vancouver area.

How did we get into photography? World renowned fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld said it best, “What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.” This is what we truly believe in. The best decision we’ve ever made was to record our lives on film, nowadays not so much on film but on a memory card, and we always enjoyed looking back at all of those precious moments. One day we thought, why not help others to preserve their moments in life so that they can be cherished forever? So here we are.

Photography is our passion. It is a wonderful outlet for the artistic and creative side of us that is less often utilized in our day jobs as an Engineer and a Registered Nurse. Photography also serves as a means for us to reach out to people. As photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt once said, “It is more important to click with people than to click the shutter.” We pride ourselves in connecting with our clients on a personal level so we can tell your stories through our images.

We specialize in portraits for babies, children, expecting mothers, and families. We have a home-based studio in the South Surrey/White Rock area, which also gives us convenient access to many beautiful beaches and parks for outdoor shoots. We are proud parents of two, so we know sometimes it may not be the most convenient to travel with a little one. That is why we also have a portable studio setup and can travel to your home for a Maternity or Newborn session.
